Abstract

Background    : The differences of the satisfaction level among emergency and non emergency patient family become one of important problems in Emergency Unit Batu Baptist Hospital. The purpose of this research is for comparing the satisfaction level among emergency and non emergency patients family to the health service quality given by Emergency Unit at Batu Baptist Hospital.    Method            : this research was comparative study. The population are all of the patient family in Emergency Unit. The quantity of the sample are 100 respondences that was taken by accidental sampling. The independent variable is health service quality. The dependent variable was satifaction level of emergency and non emergency patient is family.The data was analized by “Wilcoxon Test” with mean level    0,05. The result of this research showed that there was no difference of satisfaction level between emergency and non emergency patients family. The result of statistic test “Wilcoxon” is p = 0,465 and p   , so that H0 is accepted.   Conclusion      : The conclusion of this research is the same satisfaction between emergency and non emergency patient family. It is very satisfy result so that the health service quality at Emergency Unit in Batu Baptist Hospital have been suitable with the patient and customer hopes.

Abstract

Background    : Depression is mood interference that usually happened to elderly, there can caused elderly feel separated / isolated from family and feel loneliness. To overcome depression is different, according to patient condition. But support from family more help elderly to prevent and overcome elderly depression. From family support, elderly may feel to be attended so elderly can enter old day better. This research have objective to analize relationship family support and depression level of elderly in Posyandu Sejahtera GBI Setia Bakti Kediri.   Method            : research used analytic design that was correlation study. The populates of this research were all elderly, who life whithis child and grand child. Amount of sample were 61 respondents, taken by purposive sampling. This research used Spearman Rho’s statistic test whit SPSS 11 version, and have significant meaning r ≤ 0,05. Result of this research showed family support that elderly felt was good support, there were 56 respondents (91,8%).   Conclusion      : This conclusion of this research showed there was relationship between family support and family depression of elderly in Posyandu Sejahtera GBI Setia Bakti Kediri. It mean that a good family support make elderly feeling comfortable, and elderly had a good coping to solve their problems so that elderly had low / mild depression level.

Abstract

Background : Everyone will get aging process naturally. Being old, Elderly have changes either bio-psycho-socio-spiritual aspects. These changes of this process cause anxiety.  Aromatherapy is considered to be able to decrease anxiety and increase comfort. In this case, research was done about influence aromatherapy of lavender toward decreasing anxiety degree to elderly in Panti Wredha St.Yoseph Kediri. Method : This research showed that majority respondents (more than 90%) in Panti Wredha St. Yoseph Kediri experienced decreasing anxiety degree after having aromatherapy of Lavender. Statistical analysis of “t-Test” using SPSS 11.0 with α ≤ 0.05 showed was influence aromatherapy of Lavender toward decreasing anxiety degree to elderly in Panti Wredha St.Yoseph Kediri. Conclusion : The Conclusion of this research that Aromatherapy of Lavender influenced decreasing anxiety degree to elderly because it gave relax and comfort. This condition made elderly thought clearly to face the stressor. If the stressor were overcome well, it would decrease anxiety degree to elderly automatically became light anxiety even more no anxiety at all.

Abstract

Background :There is servical cancer which attack nurse make a motivation to nurse to do papsmear. Nurse’s knowledge about cervical cancer could give an influence motivation to papsmear. The purpose of this study was to know correlation of degree of nurse’s knowledge about cervical cancer with degree of motivation to papsmear in Kediri Baptist Hospital. Method : This research was correlational design.Total sample was 69 respondent using purposive sampling.. The independent variables were degree of nurse’s knowledge  about cervical cancer. The dependent variables was degree of motivation to papsmear.Then analized using Spearman Rho with significant range 0,05. The Result of this study indicated most of nurse has good knowledge that there 46 respondent ( 67 % ) and most of nurse has good motivation to papsmear that there were 54 respondent ( 78 % ) with significant range ( p ) : 0,000. Conclusion : The conclusion of this reserch was degree of nurse’s knowledge about cervical cancer has correlation with degree of motivation to papsmear, because p £ 0,05. Further studies should involve larger respondents and better measurement tools to obtainmore accurate results.

Abstract

Background    : The increasing of Overweight problem is proved that a lot of advertisement about decreasing weight product. People with Overweight that know how to control the body weight is important, they use various method to decrease weight of body until becoming normal weight, and keep maintaining that condition. The objective of this research is to identify the knowledge level about decreasing weight method to student with Overweight in Kediri Baptist Hospital Health Science College Method : This research was descriptive , Population was all students with Overweight in Kediri Baptist Hospital Health Science College. The samples were 30 respondents that meet inclusion criterion using total sampling. The variable was single variable namely knowledge about decreasing weight method to student with Overweight in Kediri Baptist Hospital Health Science College. The result of research from 30 respondents showed that student who had good level knowledge was 2 respondents (7%), enough level knowledge was 22 respondents (73%), and less level knowledge was 6 respondents (20%).    Conclusion : Conclusion of this research indicated that knowledge level about decreasing weight body method to student with Overweight in Kediri Baptist Hospital Health Science College

Abstract

Background    : Perception of the patients to wards the official nurse to apprentice nurse is influenced by an environment factor namely therapeutic communication, it is done by  the nurse. The objective of this research  is to analyze the difference perception of the  patient to therapeutic communication between the official nurse and apprentice nurse in medical surgical ward of class III Baptis Hospital Kediri. Method            : This research was analytic comparation. The sample was all patients who taking care in medical surgical ward of class III who meet inclusion criterias. The number of the respondents were 58 using purposive sampling  technique. The research used single variable, that was perception of the patients to therapeutic communication. Conclusion      : The conclusion of this research that was no difference perception of the patients to the therapeutic communication between the job Holder nurse with the contract officer nurse in Adult Room of Class III in Baptis Hospital Kediri.
